How did I become a sailor?:
Both my parents are sailors and have sailed ever since their childhood. So I guess they have been my biggest support to sail ever since I was born. My first sail was with my dads bigboat when I was one year old so sailing has always been apart of who I am. When I turned eight my parents put me in an Optimist dinghy and I went to a sailing school in my hometown in Sweden. From the moment I sat down in the boat and sailed away for the first time I got so in love with the sport.

What does it mean for me to sail?:
For me it means great intense, freedom and adrenalin. The is nothing like dropping of a four meter wave in 25 knots of wind, water everywhere and pounding away on a big surf!

Name of the Sailing boat:
Blue Marlin

Why did I select this name?:
Actually I got the name from a fish. Last November my best friend and I sailed across the Atlantic to the Caribbean. My friend gave me these stickers of the Blue Marlin fish which you fish out of the Caribbean sea. So I put the sticker on my boat and there you have the name of my Laser, Blue Marlin

Milestones / Successes/ Participation until now:
2007: Ranked as 5^th on the Senior Swedish National Ranking, Ranked as 3rd on the Youth Swedish National Ranking,0th The Nordic Championships. 2008: 3rd at the Youth Swedish Championships. I have sailed three Youth European Championships for Sweden (06-07-08). Best result 31 overall and among the sailors in my age.

Goals > 2009 / 2010:
Goals for 2009: Top 10 Youth Europeans and qualify for the World Championships.
Goals for 2010: Sail the World Championships.

My largest dream:
Winning an Olympic gold medal and the participation in a renowned regatta.

My life slogan:
If you are chasing your dream you are not running fast enough!
